A Fine And Rare Cased Officer's Full Dress Sabretache, Pouch With Shoulder-Belt And Waist Belt Of The Norfolk Yeomanry Cavalry Circa 1837-1849 The waist belt of regular cavalry pattern, and all in very fine condition (shoulder-belt with some wear): in their sabretache carrying case, the lid with brass plaque engraved 'J. Brereton Esqr., Norfolk Yeo.y' (5) Footnotes: Provenance Thomas Del Mar Ltd In association with Sotheby's, Olympia, 8 December 2010, lot 97 John Brereton (1813-61) of Brinton, Norfolk was commissioned Lieutenant in the Holt troop Norfolk Yeomanry Cavalry which was raised and commanded by his father William John Brereton (1787-1851) in 1835.
